Capita To Sell National Dental Plan To Unum For GBP 31.7 Mln Cash - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Capita Plc. (CPI.L), a provider of customer and business process management services, announced Monday that it has agreed the sale of National Dental Plan or NDP to U.S.-based Unum Group for a cash consideration of 31.7 million pounds on a cash free, debt free basis. The sale is subject to regulatory approval, the company said.

Unum Group is a provider of disability insurance products in the United States and the United Kingdom.

In recent deals, Capita announced the acquisition of UK property consultancy business GL Hearn for a cash consideration of 25 million pounds in July, and the acquisition of Vertex Mortgage Services Limited for 35 million pounds in June.

In London, Capita shares were trading at 1,288 pence, down 0.46 percent.
