Canexxia to Partner With Ohio CDFI For Expansion Into Columbus, Cleveland, and Toledo

Terms of the deal are yet to be disclosed but the CEP is expecting the final transaction to surpass $8.3 million.

CEP specializes in the acquisition and management of home Healthcare and Assisted Living facilities. Through their acquisitions, CEP noticed that many of the communities in which they sought to invest had little, or no, access to capital.

CEP's CDFI certification is pending at the time of this announcement. As part of their community services, they provide eligible Medicare and Medicaid recipients with intensive nutritional counseling, occupational therapy, speech therapy, wound care, home infusion, sleep studies and CPAP equipment, as well as various durable medical equipment (DME). CEP's social impact goals include reducing emergency room visits, stabilizing at-risk patients, spine and joint rehabilitation, reducing re-hospitalization due to infection, lowering fall risk, provide transportation to community events, and creating jobs to underserved communities.
