CallWave President & CEO Jeff Cavins to Participate on a Panel Moderated by Walt Mossberg at BroadSoft Connections 2008: Xtend

WHAT: CallWave (NASDAQ:CALL), a leading global provider of mobile and Web-based unified communications solutions, today announced that president and CEO Jeff Cavins will speak at the BroadSoft Connections 2008: Xtend conference to be held October 5-8, 2008 in Scottsdale, Ariz. The conference provides a forum for leading executives to discuss and debate new opportunities to enhance core voice services with Web 2.0 and unified communications solutions.

Cavins will participate on the first panel at the conference -- "Empowering Users with Open and Flexible Networks -- which will be moderated by Walt Mossberg, principal technology columnist for the Wall Street Journal. Other panelists include Emily Nagle Green, president and CEO of Yankee Group, and Shawn Hardin, president and CEO of Flock. This debate will focus on how to achieve the most optimized communication environment, what has worked with other companies, where enhancements need to be made and what challenges are expected ahead.

The discussion will include an examination of mobile communications and how it is now a necessity as remote and mobile workers are becoming the norm.
