California Water Service Group Holding Announces 25% Fall In Q3 Earnings

(RTTNews) - California Water Service Group Holding (CWT) revealed a profit for third quarter that lost ground from last year.

The company said its profit dropped to $25.12 million, or $0.52 per share. This was down from $33.65 million, or $0.70 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.67 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 4.0% to $183.54 million. This was down from $191.18 million last year.
