Cache May File For Bankruptcy : Report

(RTTNews) - Cache Inc. (CACH), a specialty chain of women's apparel stores, is preparing to file for bankruptcy, Bloomberg reported citing people familiar with the matter. The move is expected as soon as next week.

Last month, Cache said that its board determined to explore and evaluate strategic alternatives including a possible merger, sale or other form of business combination. It also had received an inquiry from a third party regarding a potential sale of the Company.

CACH closed Thursday's trading at $0.0974, down $0.0919 or 48.55%. In after-hours, the share future plunged $0.03 or 31.21% to $0.0670
