STATE COLLEGE, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 22, 2005--C-COR Incorporated (Nasdaq:CCBL), a global provider of interoperable network solutions for the IP era that include access and digital transport products, software systems, and technical services, today announced the immediate availability of a full suite of 1 GHz bandwidth HFC access products for headend optics, nodes, and amplifiers. The 1 GHz capability enables network operators to enhance their current HDTV and VOD service offerings by providing the additional bandwidth required for these services. C-COR's first public showing of these products will be at the NCTA 2005 National Show (Booth #6454, North Hall D, Moscone Center, San Francisco, April 3-5, 2005).
C-COR's HFC access product lines with the new 1 GHz bandwidth capability are:
-- | The CHP Max5000(TM) Converged Headend Platform with advanced 1 GHz transmitters that are dual-input, variable optical output, and hot swappable with integrated local and remote management. |
-- | The Opti Max4100 fully segmentable 1 GHz nodes featuring high port-to-port isolation that is critical for today's triple play services over the same network, as well as 'pay as you grow' modular options that include a variety of return path technologies. |
-- | The Flex Max901 series of 1 GHz trunk and bridger amplifiers that are designed to overcome the higher insertion losses of coaxial cable and passives and to ensure cost-effective new designs and drop-in upgrades of existing 750 and 862 MHz networks. |
-- | The Flex Max331 line extenders that are part of a new and enhanced series of 1 GHz strandmount line extenders with the superior quality and exceptional performance customers have come to expect with C-COR RF amplifiers. |
