Buckle September Comparable Store Net Sales Up 17.8% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Denim retailer Buckle, Inc. (BKE) reported Thursday that comparable store net sales, for stores open at least one year, for the 5-week period ended October 2, 2021 increased 17.8 percent.

Net sales for the period increased 17.3 percent to $111.2 million from net sales of $94.9 million for the prior-year 5-week period.

For the year-to-date for the 35-week period ended October 2, 2021, comparable store net sales increased 61.8 percent. Net sales for the period increased 62.0 percent to $817.1 million from $504.4 million in the prior-year period.

The company also announced today that Diane Applegate, Vice President of Supply Chain and Merchandising Operations, will retire from her position at the end of the current fiscal year.
