Buckle Climbs Off Worst Levels But Remains Firmly Negative

(RTTNews) - Shares of The Buckle, Inc. (BKE) have climbed off their worst levels of the day but continue to see considerable weakness in afternoon trading on Tuesday. After hitting its lowest intraday level in a month, Buckle is currently down by 8.8 percent.

Buckle initially came under pressure after the apparel retailer reported fiscal third quarter results that came in below analyst estimates on both the top and bottom lines.

The company reported earnings of $0.42 per share on revenues of $215.1 million, while analysts had expected earnings of $0.46 per share on revenues of $219.1 million.
