Bryn Mawr Bank CFO Duncan Smith Resigns, David Takats Named Successor

(RTTNews) - Bryn Mawr Bank Corp (BMTC), parent of Bryn Mawr Trust Co, on Friday announced the resignation of Duncan Smith as its chief financial officer and treasurer.

The company said it has appointed David Takats as its interim CFO and Marie Connolly as its interim chief accounting officer.

Takats has been with Bryn Mawr Trust Co since July 2010, most recently serving as senior vice president. Ms. Connolly has been with Bryn Mawr Trust Co since January 2000, most recently serving as SVP in the Finance Department.

The company noted that Smith's resignation is not due to any dispute or disagreement on any matters, policies, procedures or accounting principles. There is an active search process underway to select the next permanent CFO, it said.
