Bruce Fears Named Executive Vice President, ARAMARK Parks And Resorts

    PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 16, 2005--ARAMARK (NYSE:RMK), a world leader in managed services, today announced that Bruce Fears has joined ARAMARK as executive vice president, Parks and Resorts, ARAMARK Sports and Entertainment Services.
    In this role, Fears will report directly to Norm Miller, president, ARAMARK Sports & Entertainment Services. Fears will be responsible for the overall direction and management of ARAMARK's Parks and Resorts group, which provides a wide range of food, facility and other professional services to 14 state parks and resort operations across the U.S.
    This is a return to ARAMARK for Fears who previously worked in the ARAMARK Parks and Resorts group for over 20 years. He first joined ARAMARK in 1974 as food and beverage manager of the Skyland Lodge of Shenandoah National Park in Luray, Virginia. During this first stint with ARAMARK, Fears rose to the level of vice president, western region. In addition, he also was an integral part of ARAMARK's management team of the 1980 Olympics in Lake Placid.

    Most recently, Fears was president of Delaware North Companies Parks and Resorts.
    Fears received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bridgewater College in Virginia and continued through programs at University of London's School of Economics and University of Florida's School of Management. Fears, his wife Barbara, and two daughters will continue to reside in the Seattle area.
