Brookfield Canada FFO Rises

(RTTNews) - Brookfield Canada Office Properties (BOXC, BOX_UN.TO) Monday reported third-quarter funds from operations of C$38 million or C$0.41 per unit, compared with C$33 million or C$0.36 per unit last year.

Excluding items, adjusted FFO for the quarter was C$0.32 per unit, compared with C$0.28 per unit a year ago.

Net income for the quarter was C$0.10 per unit, compared with C$0.35 per unit in the prior year.

Revenue for the quarter was C$128 million, compared with C$130 million a year ago.

Brookfield said that with new premier office towers coming online in Toronto and Calgary, it is poised from strong growth over the next several years.

The company announced a distribution of C$0.1033 per unit.
