Brightpoint Appoints Paul Sansom as Chief Financial Officer for Bright

    PLAINFIELD, Ind.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 5, 2005--Brightpoint, Inc. (NASDAQ:CELL) announced today that it has appointed Paul Sansom as the Chief Financial Officer for its Europe division. From 1998 through 2004 Mr. Sansom was employed by PepsiCo, most recently as the Director of International Corporate Finance for their Europe, Middle East & Africa region. Prior to 1998, Mr. Sansom held various financial positions for a number of European companies including Quintiles Transnational, BMW and Mars Electronics. Mr. Sansom has a BA in Economics from London Metropolitan University.
