Bona Film Receives "going-private" Proposal

(RTTNews) - Chinese film company Bona Film Group Ltd. (BONA) said Friday that its Board of Directors has received a non-binding proposal letter, dated June 12, from Yu Dong, founder, Chairman and CEO of the company, Sequoia Capital China I LP and Fosun International Ltd., proposing a "going-private" deal to acquire all of the outstanding ordinary shares of the company not already owned by the Buyer Group for US$13.70 in cash per American depositary share, or about US$27.40 per ordinary share.

The company said its board plans to form a special committee consisting of independent directors to consider the proposal.
