BMO Wins Top Honour for Corporate Reporting
One of only four companies to achieve Platinum status
TORONTO, Dec. 8, 2017 /CNW/ - BMO Financial Group's corporate reporting program received top honours in the 2017 Awards of Excellence in Corporate Reporting program, which is presented by the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPAC). Award recipients were honoured at a gala celebration in Toronto, Wednesday evening.
BMO was one of only four companies in the entire field of entrants to receive the CPAC's top Platinum status, which is presented to entrants that serve to inspire all publicly listed companies by demonstrating exemplary quality in each of four judging categories:
This is the third consecutive year that BMO has been recognized with an award of excellence.
Helen Killoch, Vice-President and Chief Accountant, BMO Financial Group, accepted the award on behalf of the bank. "This award is a testament to the many dedicated people at BMO who contribute to our corporate reporting. It's truly a group effort," said Ms. Killoch. "We are very grateful for this recognition, which also serves as a reminder to continue striving for excellence in everything we do."
