blu eCigs will also be on-site in the entertainment area during the Houston Grand Prix event providing adult smokers with the opportunity to sample blu disposable products in their choice of Classic Tobacco or Magnificent Menthol flavors.
"We are excited to continue to lead the charge as primary sponsor of the Houston Grand Prix, a three-day event that we know will be brimming with energy," said Matt Coapman, VP of Marketing at blu eCigs. "We have received an overwhelming response from our recent involvements earlier this racing season and are looking forward to bring the remodeled #15 IndyCar out on the track in Houston."
Since its inception in 2009, blu eCigs has consistently led the charge to introduce e-cigarettes as a new class of smoking alternative to the US market and has done so in a pragmatic way - always keeping the customer experience as the central focus. In April 2012, blu eCigs was acquired by Lorillard, Inc., solidifying blu eCigs as a market trailblazer and further advancing the tremendous growth opportunity represented by the e-cigarette category. Today, North Carolina-based blu eCigs continues to set the standard in product innovation and responsible marketing.
"It is wonderful to be associated with an innovative, pioneering company like blu eCigs that is so committed to design," added Bobby Rahal, co-owner of Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing with CBS LATE SHOW host David Letterman and Mi-Jack co-owner Mike Lanigan. "As an owner, my goal was to always work with world-class companies that are relevant to our team as much as the fans, and blu has certainly proven this for us throughout the 2013 IndyCar season."
blu eCigs and Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing (RLL) were recently invited to the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway for an historic test run on the speedway's road course. Check out this video for an exclusive look at blu eCigs' involvement throughout the full 2013 IndyCar season.
