Black Hills Q4 Profit Down - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Black Hills Corporation (BKH) Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $18.1 million or $0.41 per share, down from $30.8 million or $0.70 per share in the same period last year.

Adjusted earnings for the quarter were $30.1 million or $0.70 per share. On average, three analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.62per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues increased to $355.4 million from $318.9 million last year.

Looking ahead, the company has reaffirmed its full-year earnings from continuing operations in the range of $2.50 to $2.70 per share. Analysts currently expect full-year earnings of $2.59 per share.
