Best Buy: Millions Shop Black Friday Deals; Cyber Week Offers Launch Today
(RTTNews) - Electronics retailer Best Buy Co Inc. (BBY) said millions of customers shopped BestBuy.com and Best Buy stores over Black Friday weekend, scoring doorbuster deals on top brands, including Apple, Samsung, Sony and Microsoft.
Shoppers bought hundreds of thousands of TVs, with tremendous interest in 4K TVs. Gaming was also hot, with consoles and games filling up carts.
Customers purchased twice as many wearables, including smartwatches and health-and-fitness trackers, as they did a year ago.
Shoppers also bought millions of entertainment gifts, such as movies, music and games.
The retailer said great deals on the biggest brands are still available online and in stores. Top deals on in-stock products include $150 savings on select MacBooks, $100 savings on Surface 3, $500 savings on 55-inch LG 4K Ultra HD Smart TV and $250 savings on 55-inch VIZIO 4K Ultra HD Smart TV.
Cyber Week savings on BestBuy.com and in stores are starting today. Cyber Monday will bring more than 50 new, one-day deals, with additional deals revealed every day through December 5.
