Benchmark Electronics Inc Reveals 2% Advance In Q4 Profit

(RTTNews) - Benchmark Electronics Inc (BHE) reported a profit for its fourth quarter that advanced compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $22.96 million, or $0.45 per share. This was higher than $22.53 million, or $0.42 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $0.41 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 11.8% to $625.72 million. This was down from $709.55 million last year.
