Baxalta Inc. Q4 Profit Retreats 18%

(RTTNews) - Baxalta Inc. (BXLT) announced earnings for fourth quarter that declined compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line came in at $387 million, or $0.57 per share. This was lower than $471 million, or $0.69 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 4.8% to $1.76 billion. This was up from $1.68 billion last year.
