Barnes Group Inc. Elects William J. Morgan to Board of Directors

The Board of Directors of Barnes Group Inc. (NYSE: B) today announced that William J. Morgan, 59, has been elected to Barnes Group’s Board of Directors. The election, which brings the Board membership to 12, was made effective today. "We are pleased to have Bill join Barnes Group Inc.’s Board of Directors,” said Thomas O. Barnes, Chairman of the Board. "Bill’s wealth of global financial management and audit experience makes him a valuable addition to the Board of Directors.” Mr. Morgan is a retired partner of the accounting firm KPMG LLP, where he served clients in the industrial and consumer market practices. Most recently, he was the Chairman of KPMG LLP’s Audit Quality Council and a member of its Independence Disciplinary Committee. Mr. Morgan was the Lead Partner for the Chairman’s 25 Partner Leadership Development Program. He previously served as the Managing Partner of the Stamford, Connecticut office, and a member of the Board of Directors for KPMG LLP.
