AVIATION WEEK Brings Aircraft Interiors Forum to Ft. Lauderdale on April 15-16

NEW YORK, March 24 /PRNewswire/ -- AVIATION WEEK's newest conference, Interiors, will open on April 15-16, 2008, at the Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, bringing together top cabin interior decision-makers, engineers, designers, manufacturers, dealers and suppliers- all those involved in defining the present and future of aircraft interiors. Attendees will participate in interactive discussions about current trends and issues pertaining to the design, manufacturing and servicing of aircraft interior equipment in the commercial sector. Interiors will be co-located with the MRO 2008 Conference & Exhibition, one of the industry's most important MRO events.

Sessions at the forum will address topics such as in-flight entertainment (IFE) options, economy-plus cabins, and how professionals are using green materials and technologies to improve fuel efficiency and reduce energy costs. A collaborative roundtable discussion on day two will focus on IFE systems, what is really useable and cost-effective today, and where IFE is headed. Attendees will leave the forum prepared with ideas that can be immediately implemented for real results at their own companies.

"The advances in cabin interior technologies and customer-centered design have increased exponentially in recent years," said Tom Henricks, president, AVIATION WEEK. "To stay competitive, aircraft interior professionals must be aware of current customer preferences and the pros and cons of available options. AVIATION WEEK's Interiors will equip attendees with the knowledge they need to stay on the cutting edge, while also providing an opportunity to learn, collaborate and network with peers."
