Aviat Networks Wins $19 Mln Purchase Order - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Aviat Networks, Inc. (AVNW), an expert in microwave networking solutions, Tuesday said it received a $19 million purchase order for a public safety communications backhaul system.

The project includes IP-based microwave products and all associated engineering, installation, post-sales support and extended warranty services. Revenue will be recognized over several quarters.

"The county is overhauling its current network with a state-of-the-art P25 digital system that will result in ultra reliable communications with enhanced capacity and security," said Tony Ljubicich, vice president, sales and services, North America, Aviat Networks.

Aviat will be responsible for providing a turnkey microwave system that the county can count on for the foreseeable future.
