AutoNation's New Vehicle Unit Sales Up 13% In November; Comps Rise 8%

(RTTNews) - AutoNation, Inc (AN), an automotive retailer, Wednesday reported a 13 percent year-over-year increase in total retail new vehicle unit sales for November to 25.454. Also, the company stated that same-store retail new vehicle unit sales rose by 8 percent to 24.320 from the corresponding period last year.

All the divisions of the company recorded a rise in total retail new vehicle sales over the November of last year; Domestic up 15 percent to 7.409; Import climbed 11 percent to 12.136, Premium Luxury segment sales increased 13 percent to 5.909.

AutoNation also stated that it expects to report retail new vehicle unit sales for the month of December, on Monday, 6 January 2014.

Tuesday, AN closed at $49.02 on the NYSE.
