AutoNation October Total Retail New Vehicle Unit Sales Rise 9% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Automotive retailer AutoNation Inc. (AN) said that its total retail new vehicle unit sales in October 2013, as reported to the applicable automotive manufacturers, were 22,914, an increase of 9% as compared to October 2012. Same-store retail new vehicle unit sales in October 2013 were 21,833, an increase of 4% as compared to October 2012.

The company in the domestic segment saw a 9 percent increase, while in Import segment a 8 percent rise, and in the Premium Luxury segment, 13 percent increase from last October.

The company said it expects to report November 2013 retail new vehicle unit sales on Wednesday, December 4, 2013.
