AutoNation Oct. Retail New Vehicle Unit Sales Rise - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Automotive retailer AutoNation, Inc. (AN) said it reported to automotive manufacturers retail sales of 24,844 new vehicles in October 2014, an increase of 8% year-over-year. On a same-store basis, October reported retail new vehicle unit sales were up 7%, as compared with October 2013.

Looking at AutoNation's operating segments, monthly reported retail new vehicle unit sales were 7,497 for Domestic, up 7% versus October 2013; 11,917 for Import, up 11% year-on-year, and 5,430 for Premium Luxury, up 5% versus October 2013.

The company plans to report November 2014 retail new vehicle unit sales on December 3, 2014.
