AU Optronics Posts Q2 Basic EPS Of NT$0.43 - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - AU Optronics Corp. (AUO) reported net income attributable to owners of the company of NT$3.93 billion, or $131 million in the second quarter of 2013, with basic earnings per share amounting to NT$0.43, or $0.14 per ADR. AUO's net income for the latest quarter was NT$3.98 billion, or $133 million.

During the second quarter of 2013, consolidated revenues were NT$112.34 billion, or $3.75 billion. Quarterly shipments for AUO's large-sized panel shipments reached around 30.5 million units, while shipments for small and medium-sized panels reached nearly 36.6 million units.

Going forward, AUO would continue to accumulate its technology capability and provide diversified product offerings, aiming to build up a more balanced customer portfolio.
