AU Optronics July Revenue Rises 4.1% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - AU Optronics Corp (AUO) reported its preliminary consolidated July 2013 revenue of NT$33.03 billion, up 4.1 percent from NT$31.72 billion in the same month last year.

For July 2013, large-sized panel shipments, with applications on desktop monitor, notebook PC, LCD TV and other applications, slid 16.4% sequentially to nearly 8.81 million units. As for small-and-medium-sized panels, the shipments were more than 13.42 million units, a 5.5% growth month-over-month.

Large size refers to panels that are 10 inches and above in diagonal measurement while small and medium size refers to those below 10 inches.
