Astoria Financial Q3 Profit Rises

(RTTNews) - Astoria Financial Corporation (AF) Wednesday reported third-quarter net income of $16.6 million or $0.17 per share, up from $14.7 million or $0.15 per share last year.

Net interest income for the quarter rose to $84.6 million from $86.2 million last year. Analysts estimated revenues of $85.64 million for the quarter.

The company declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.04 per common share, which is payable on December 1 to shareholders of record as of November 17.
