Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. Announces Leadership Promotions in Property & Casualty Brokerage Operations

ITASCA, Ill., Nov. 30, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. (NYSE: AJG) today announced three leadership promotions in its property & casualty brokerage operations.

James S. Gault, currently President of Gallagher's global property & casualty brokerage operations, will assume the newly created position of Chairman. Jim's responsibilities will focus on developing the company's next generation of leaders as well as supporting the brokerage operations' continued growth and client-centric culture.

Thomas J. Gallagher, currently leader of Gallagher's property & casualty brokerage operations outside the U.S., will assume Jim Gault's role as President of Gallagher's global property & casualty brokerage operations. In this expanded role, Tom will assume responsibility for U.S. retail property & casualty operations and will continue to lead Gallagher's international property & casualty operations. He will report to Jim Gault.

Michael R. Pesch, currently leader of Gallagher's retail property & casualty brokerage operations in the Midwest region of the U.S., has been promoted to the newly created role of President of U.S. retail property & casualty brokerage operations. In this role, Mike will lead the day-to-day management of Gallagher's retail property & casualty brokerage operations in the U.S., reporting to Tom Gallagher.
