Svenska kraftnät and Arise Elnät AB, an Arise AB subsidiary, have concluded a connection agreement, thus taking an important step towards the establishment of the new Torpberget grid station in the municipality of Ljusdal. The purpose of the new grid station is to pave the way for the construction of new wind farms in the area.

Svenska kraftnät and Arise Elnät AB can now move forward on the project of building the new grid station, which according to the preliminary timetable will be ready to go into operation in autumn 2017.
