Ariad Pharmaceuticals Inc Q2 Profit Advances 117%

(RTTNews) - Ariad Pharmaceuticals Inc (ARIA) released earnings for its second quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $114.1 million, or $0.59 per share. This was higher than $52.5 million, or $0.28 per share, in last year's second quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 133.0% to $68.13 million. This was up from $29.24 million last year.
