APSP University Announces New Online Retail Management Certification Course
ALEXANDRIA, Va., Feb. 28, 2019 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) announced today the availability of its new online self-paced CRP Certified Pool & Spa Retail Professional 201 course.
Designed to increase retail managers skills and confidence in supervising, hiring, training and leading, this eight-hour self-paced online interactive course gives students a strong foundation about the management aspects of running a retail store. The course consists of six modules including: operation and inventory, human relations, communication and leadership skills, marketing and merchandising, sales techniques and financial management skills.

There are no prerequisites for the CRP 201 course. Topics covered in the course include: inventory, storage and purchasing, customer relationship management software, hiring procedures, employee coaching and discipline, workman's compensation, workplace harassment, marketing channels and building brand presence, establishing accounting procedures, pricing and margins and key finance options.

In addition to the CRP 201 course, APSP offers the CRP 101 course for the retail sales professional. Released in January of 2019, CRP 101 is an eight-hour online self-paced interactive course that gives the retail sales person a strong foundation to effectively and efficiently run a retail business.
