Aon Consulting Names James A. Stark as National Health and Welfare Practice Leader

CHICAGO and SAN FRANCISCO, May 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Aon Consulting, the human capital and management consulting organization of Aon Corporation , has announced that, effective immediately, James A. Stark has been named the U.S. National Health & Welfare Practice Leader.

Stark, an executive vice president for Aon Consulting's Employee Benefits group, is based in San Francisco. In Stark's new role, his primary responsibilities will include chairing a twelve-member council, which sets the strategic direction and practice standards for the 52 offices in the U.S. He will continue serving as a member of the U.S. Operations committee.

Roger Vaughn, U.S. president, Aon Consulting, stated, "Jim's knowledge of the health and welfare industry, his familiarity with Aon and the experience he's gained as head of the West region position him well for this new responsibility."

Stark has over 30 years experience in human resources and employee benefits. His clients have come from an array of industries, and he is well-versed in assisting organizations in aligning their benefit and human resource strategies with their business strategies.

Stark received a bachelor's degree and teaching credential from Benedictine University in Illinois. He is a past president of the World Trade Club in San Francisco.
