Anthem, Inc. Q3 adjusted earnings Beat Estimates

(RTTNews) - Anthem, Inc. (ANTM) reported a profit for its third quarter that advanced from the same period last year.

The company's profit totaled $960 million, or $3.62 per share. This compares with $747 million, or $2.80 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Excluding items, Anthem, Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $1011 million or $3.81 per share for the period.
