Anteon Awarded $69M Contract to Support U.S. Navy Research, Development and Acquisition Programs

    FAIRFAX, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 3, 2005--Anteon International Corporation (NYSE:ANT) announced today it has been awarded a task order by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to support the Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Research, Development and Acquisition Chief Engineer. The estimated value of this five-year task order, if all options are exercised, is $69 million. It was awarded under a previously announced NAVSEA multiple award contract that has a ceiling of $14.5 billion.
    Under this task order, Anteon will provide program management, acquisition and systems engineering services to enhance the integration and interoperability of U.S. Navy combat, weapons, command, control, communication, computer, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance (C4ISR) and information technology systems. Specific technical services include large-scale systems engineering process development, collaborative engineering, policy and standards and capability assessments.
