Antares Pharma Appoints Eamonn Hobbs As CEO, Paul Wotton Resigns - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Antares Pharma, Inc. (ATRS) Tuesday said it has appointed Eamonn Hobbs to the position of President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company effective immediately.

Paul Wotton has resigned from the company, and has informed its Board of Directors that he will assume the position of chief executive officer of a development stage biotechnology company. Wotton also has resigned from the Antares Board of Directors.

Hobbs joined Antares board in August 2009 and has over 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, medical device, and combination products industry, including medical specialty fields of radiology, vascular surgery, interventional cardiology, oncology and gastroenterology.

Previously, Hobbs was President and Chief Executive Officer of Delcath Systems, Inc. Prior to that, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of AngioDynamics, Inc.
