Analogic Corporation Appoints Sorin Marcovici Corporate Senior Technical Vice President

John Wood, President and CEO of Analogic Corporation(NASDAQ: ALOG), announced today that Sorin Marcovici has been namedCorporate Senior Technical Vice President of Analogic. In this newlycreated position, Mr. Marcovici will lead the planning andimplementation of corporate-wide efforts to enhance engineeringproductivity in health and security technology. Mr. Marcovici, who hasbeen with Analogic since 1976, recently served as President of Anrad,an Analogic subsidiary that has pioneered the development ofinnovative flat-panel detectors for Direct Digital Radiography (DDR).

"Sorin will be responsible for maximizing our engineeringproductivity," said Wood. "He will ensure that each of our manyengineering projects is well defined and aligned with the Company'sstrategic goals, and that all technical resources are allocated asefficiently as possible to achieve those goals."
