American Woodmark Q4 Profit Edges Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - American Woodmark Corp. (AMWD), a maker of kitchen cabinets and vanities, Tuesday reported fourth-quarter net income of $5.6 million or $0.36 per share compared with $5.2 million or $0.35 per share last year.

Excluding after-tax restructuring charges, the company generated net income of $5.4 million or $0.34 per share for the quarter. On average, six analysts polled by Thomson-Reuters estimated the company's earnings to $0.40 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude one-time items.
