American Honda Motor February Sales Down 7% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - American Honda Motor Co. (HMC) Monday said consolidated sales for the month of February decreased 7 percent to 100,405 units from 107,987 units in the same month last year.

Honda division recorded sales of 88,860 units, down 8 percent from 96,623 units last year. Acura division sales improved slightly to 11,545 units from 11,364 units last year. Consolidated car sales for the month were 54,038 units, compared to 60,854 units last year. Truck sales dropped to 46,367 units from 47,133 units last year. Honda car sales decreased to 49,975 units from 55,256 units last year. Truck sales were 38,885 units, compared to 41,367 units last year.
