American Airlines Puts Caribbean and Mexico Fares on Sale; Buy Now for Travel in Early 2007 and Save
FORT WORTH, Texas, Nov. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Because it's never too soon to make plans for a sun-drenched getaway in early 2007, American Airlines has put many of its Mexico and Caribbean destinations on sale for travel from mid-January to late February 2007.

Fares shown are for round-trip, off-peak Economy-Class travel purchased on AA.com, and are in U.S. dollars. Fares shown are valid for travel Monday through Thursday; other travel days are available at additional cost. Fares are subject to change without notice. Fares do not include (a) a federal excise tax of $3.30 per U.S. domestic flight segment, defined as one takeoff and landing, of a passenger's itinerary; (b) up to $18 per round trip in local airport charges; and (c) September 11th Security Fee of $2.50 per enplanement originating at a U.S. airport, up to $5 per one way or $10 per round trip. For international and Puerto Rico/U.S. Virgin Islands destinations, government taxes and fees of up to $160, varying by destination, are not included and may vary slightly depending on currency exchange rates at the time of purchase.
Fares shown are valid for travel originating Jan. 10, 2007 through Feb. 27, 2007, with all travel complete no later than March 1, 2007. However, travel is not valid from New York/New Jersey/Connecticut/Rhode Island/Pennsylvania/Massachusetts to the Caribbean from Feb. 16-18, 2007, and from the Caribbean to New York/New Jersey/Connecticut/Rhode Island/Pennsylvania/Massachusetts is not valid from Feb. 23-25, 2007. To Cancun/Cozumel/Acapulco/Puerto Vallarta/San Jose del Cabo/Zihuatanejo in Mexico, travel is not valid Feb. 15-18, 2007, and from Cancun/Cozumel/Acapulco/Puerto Vallarta/San Jose del Cabo/Zihuatanejo is not valid Feb. 19, 20, 23-26, 2007.
Tickets must be purchased at least seven days in advance or within one day of making reservations, whichever comes first, but not later than 11:59 p.m., Dec. 6, 2006 (Central Standard Time). A two-day minimum stay is required, and a 30-day maximum stay is allowed.
Advertised fares are valid only on American Airlines, American Eagle, and AmericanConnection(R) and do not apply to other codeshare flights. Seats are limited. Fares may not be available on all flights. Schedules are subject to change without notice.
Fares are nonrefundable and nontransferable. Changes to your ticket may be made if you meet the restrictions of the new fare and pay up to a $100 fee plus any fare difference. Changes must be made before your flight departs. When you cancel your flight prior to departure time, the ticket will be valid for one year from the date of issue on an unused ticket or one year from travel origination on a partially used ticket. If you do not cancel your flight before departure time, the ticket has no value.
A portion of or all travel booked on American Airlines may be operated by American Eagle or AmericanConnection.
