Alon USA Swings To Profit; Stock Up 4%

(RTTNews) - Alon USA Partners LP (ALDW) Wednesday reported third-quarter net earnings of $77 million or $1.23 per unit compared with a loss of $16 million or $0.26 per unit last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $1.26 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues for the quarter were $838.9 million compared with $881.9 million in the prior year.

Expenses for the quarter dropped to $749 million from $885.8 million last year.

The Board of Alon USA Partners GP LLC, the general partner of Alon Partners, declared a quarterly cash distribution of $1.02 per unit.
