Alliant Techsystems Q2 Profit Rises; Updates FY15 Sales Guidance - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Alliant Techsystems Inc. (ATK) reported that its second-quarter net income attributable to company increased to $95.11 million from $92.59 million, a year ago. Earnings per share was $2.97, compared to $2.86, a year ago. Excluding items, adjusted net income in the second quarter was $96 million, or $3.00 per share.

The company reaffirmed its fiscal 2015 EPS guidance in a range of $11.50 to $11.90. Analysts expect the company to report fiscal 2015 profit per share of $11.70 on revenue of $5.17 billion.
