Alliance HealthCare Services Agrees To Be Acquired

(RTTNews) - Alliance HealthCare Services, Inc. (AIQ) announced Tuesday that it has reached a deal to be acquired by Tahoe Investment Group Co., Ltd. The deal culminates months of negotiations between the companies and comes with an improved purchase price compared to the initial offer Tahoe made late last year.

The purchase price for the newly announced deal is $13.25 per share. The company said this represented a 67% premium compared to the stock's trading price on December 9, 2016, the day before Alliance first received a buyout offer from Tahoe. The original offer price was $9.60 per share.

The merger, which is subject to approval by Alliance's stockholders, will result in the company becoming privately held.
