Alliance California Municipal Income Fund, Inc. Cancellation of Adjournment of Special Meeting of Stockholders

NEW YORK, Dec. 17, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Alliance California Municipal Income Fund, Inc. (NYSE: AKP) (the "Fund") announced that the Fund's Board of Directors (the "Board"), at a meeting today, resolved to cancel the Fund's plan to convene an adjourned special meeting of stockholders relating to the consideration and approval of new investment advisory agreements with AllianceBernstein L.P. ("Adviser"), having determined that further solicitation of proxies relating to the approval of new investment advisory agreements is not in the best interests of the Fund.  The Board intends to consider the outcome of the meeting of stockholders, and whether any action would be in the best interests of the Fund, at a future time.

The Fund is a registered closed-end management investment company managed by the Adviser.
