Alere Inc. Bottom Line Advances 47% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Alere Inc. (ALR) announced a profit for its third quarter that increased compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line rose to $48.30 million, or $0.54 per share. This was higher than $32.81 million, or $0.38 per share, in last year's third quarter.

The company said revenue for the quarter fell 7.3% to $602.04 million. This was down from $649.21 million last year.
