Ahead Of Isle Of Capri Casinos' Q4 Results

(RTTNews) - Regional gaming and entertainment company Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. (ISLE) is likely to release its fourth-quarter numbers before the bell on Tuesday, June 14, with analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimating earnings of $0.54 per share on revenue of $266.77 million. Analysts' estimate typically exclude certain special items.

In the previous quarter, the company reported net income from continuing operations of $7.0 million or $0.17 per share compared to $5.9 million or $0.15 per share in the prior year period.

Net revenues declined to $230.5 million from $236.4 million generated a year ago.

The company continues to focus on optimizing its reinvestment rates and its balanced approach to capital deployment—reinvesting into its existing assets to enhance guest experience, while at the same time reducing its debt balance. The company claims that its balance sheet continues to be in the best shape it has been in over a decade and said it has significant financial flexibility.

However, more challenging weather comparisons experienced at several properties and isolated competitive pressure at a few properties during the third quarter might restraint the fourth-quarter performance.

The company currently operates gaming and entertainment facilities in Mississippi, Louisiana, Iowa, Missouri, Colorado, Florida and Pennsylvania.
