Decliners:

Apple Inc. (AAPL) declined 0.26 percent to $528.00. The company's fourth quarter earnings declined from the prior year period, yet topped Wall Street view. Revenues also came in above the consensus estimate. Gross margins dropped to 37 percent from 40 percent last year. At the same time, the company forecast first quarter revenues in line with market view.

Seagate Technology (STX) fell 4 percent to $47.60 after the company's first quarter results missed Wall Street view.
