After-market Movers For Nov 5 (ANF, TSLA, TNGO, MSPD, REGI, Z)
(RTTNews) - Gainers:
Mindspeed Technologies Inc. (MSPD) gained 67 percent to $4.98 based on the news that it agreed to be purchased by M/A-COM Technology Solutions Holdings, Inc. (MTSI), for approximately $272 million or $5.05 per share.
Renewable Energy Group, Inc. (REGI) rose 16 percent to $13.74 as its third quarter results were above Wall Street view.
Zillow, Inc. (Z) was up 5 percent to $87.00. The company slipped to a loss in its third quarter, but its adjusted result topped analysts' view. Revenues increased 67 percent and came in above the consensus estimate.
Decliners:
Tesla Motors, Inc. (TSLA) fell 12 percent to $155.61. The company's third quarter net loss narrowed from the previous year period and its adjusted earnings per share topped Wall Street estimate. Revenues surged from the previous year period and reported 5,500 Model S deliveries during the quarter. The company expects fourth quarter non-GAAP profitability to be consistent with the third quarter.
Abercrombie & Fitch Co. (ANF) declined over 7 percent to $35.36. The company's third quarter sales declined 12 percent and missed analysts' estimate. Comparable sales for the quarter decreased 14 percent. The company noted that its third quarter results reflect continued top-line challenges, with overall spending among younger consumers remaining weak. Based on a projected low double digit decrease in comparable sales for the fourth quarter, the company expects full year adjusted non-GAAP earnings per share below Street view. The company also announced that it plans to close all of its stand-alone Gilly Hicks stores.
Tangoe, Inc. (TNGO) fell 21 percent to $15.00 after its third quarter non-GAAP earnings per share and revenue missed Street view. The company also expects fourth quarter and full year 2013 results below analysts' projection. In addition, the company guided fiscal 2014 revenue to miss the consensus estimate.
