AECOM Wins About $116 Mln Consultancy Contracts In Hong Kong - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - AECOM Technology Corp. (ACM), a provider of professional technical and management support services, announced Wednesday that it has been awarded approximately $116 million consultancy contracts for the Tseung Kwan O - Lam Tin Tunnel in Hong Kong.

The contracts comprise an approximately $13 million consultancy contract for the design and an estimated $103 million contract for the construction supervision of the Tseung Kwan O - Lam Tin or TKO-LT Tunnel project in Hong Kong.

The company noted that TKO-LT Tunnel will include a 2.6-mile, two-lane highway connecting Tseung Kwan O at Po Shun Road in the east with the proposed Trunk Road T2 in Kai Tak Development in the west.

The tunnel, along with the Central Kowloon Route and Trunk Road T2, will form part of the city's Route 6. The completion of Route 6 is anticipated to reduce the travel time between West Kowloon and TKO from 30 minutes to 12 minutes.
