Through these partnerships, the Program has financed community development and education initiatives, including inner-city supermarkets, minority businesses, affordable housing and charter schools.

The Social Investment Program makes socially responsible investments in the areas of affordable housing, economic development, minority entrepreneurship, community services and education. The Program originates investments for The Prudential Insurance Company of America and The Prudential Foundation.
